Activities
This area is just the best “Toy Box” we have ever found. Here are a few of the activities for you to enjoy.
For walkers there is the well known South West Coast Path or themed walks/strolls such as Tarka the Otter or Lorna Doone, circular walks based on attractive pubs/tearooms or even snowdrops and bluebells in season. Views and countryside are stunning.
Cyclists have everything from quiet byeways to challenging hills for roadies; moorland trails or muddy tracks for mountain bikers. Why not take part in the Exmoor Beast?
There is horse riding on beaches or gentle hacking, coasteering, sea kayaking and fishing, surfing, quad biking, shooting, diving, activity centres and great golf courses. If the activities don't take your breath away the scenery will. We can help to arrange a medley of sports for groups or clubs who stop with us.
For those less energetic the car (or local buses) will take you to some of the best beaches and scenery in the world where wild deer, ponies, goats and birds of prey are often to be seen. You may indulge in a cream tea as well.
There are numerous tourist attractions to visit. Arlington Court, Woody Bay Steam Railway, Rosemoor Gardens, Exmoor Zoo, Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Big Sheep, Milky Way, to name a few.
