Food

At Blair Lodge we aim to provide good home made meals to suit all tastes using fresh, local ingredients wherever possible.

Breakfast offers a variety of cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit salad, grapefruit or yoghurt followed by a choice of full English breakfast or smoked fish. Croissants, bagels, crumpets and muffins are also available to those preferring a continental style breakfast. The latter and toast are accompanied by home made jam and marmalade. A selection of teas and fresh filtered coffee are offered with breakfast.

Evening meals offer a choice of four starters. There are always a soup and a fruit option as well as two others. The four main course options include two meat dishes, a fish dish and a vegetarian dish. A choice from a minimum of two desserts, a selection of ice creams or cheese and biscuits follow. A cup of coffee finishes your meal.

Packed lunches are an option and sandwiches are available to any guests preferring a light meal in the evening.

Trays of tea/coffee with optional home made cake and cream teas are also available.

We will always try to provide for any special diets or special requests.

Cakes are offered for those celebrating a special occasion.

Guests are welcome to invite friends to dine with them.
