Surfing

Although Combe Martin beach is not generally suited to surfing, those in the know usually appear in January when wind and tides cause a particular phenomenon. During the rest of the year, just a few miles along the coast, there are miles of sandy beaches which surfers visit all year round. These areas can become congested and often surfers prefer to stay in the more peaceful area that Combe Martin offers. We can give information on surfing centres and suitable beaches and we have large lockable areas for surf boards etc.
